Dr. Robert J. Valuck, PhD, RPh, FNAP
Robert J. Valuck is a Professor in the Departments of Clinical Pharmacy, Epidemiology, and Family Medicine at the University Of Colorado Schools of Pharmacy, Public Health, and Medicine at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. A Colorado native, Valuck received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado (in 1987), and his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmacy (in 1992 and 1994) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is licensed to practice Pharmacy in Colorado and Illinois. Dr. Valuck is Director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Outcomes Research (CePOR) at the School of Pharmacy and teaches in both the professional and graduate degree programs. He has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on over 30 major grants and contracts with cumulative funding of over $10 Million and has authored or co-authored more than 60 research articles, 40 published abstracts, and 4 book chapters. Valuck is also actively involved in local and statewide community service, currently as the elected President of the Colorado Prescription Drug Abuse Task Force, and Coordinating Center Director of the Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention.
